Lew is the former founding CEO of the World Trade Center Utah, helping dramatically grow international trade and investment in America’s fastest-growing state economy. He previously helped lead US WEST’s creation of the first cellular phone systems in 20+ countries. In the Reagan and first Bush Administrations he served as the Director General of the U.S. Commercial Service and Assistant US Commerce Secretary of International Trade, leading the U.S. Government’s global team of 1400 commercial officers at embassies worldwide.
He also serves as a Utah Transportation Commissioner working to improve the roads, rails and airports throughout the state.
