Kevin W. Johnson has been advising clients on domestic and international legal structures for over thirty years. Kevin currently is a shareholder in Parsons Behle & Latimer. Prior to joining Parsons, Kevin was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Molycorp, Inc., a publicly traded international rare earth mining and processing company, where he was responsible for all legal aspects of the company’s operations. Before joining Molycorp, Kevin was a partner in the Denver office of Holland & Hart, where he worked in Holland & Hart’s international transactions practice. Kevin began his legal career at The Dow Chemical Company. While at Dow, he spent several years living abroad and working on international assignments. Kevin has been involved in a number of international transactions in various countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, including technology transfers and licensing arrangements, sales and distribution agreements and other commercial arrangements, construction and other project development agreements, royalty arrangements, financing transactions, joint ventures, privatizations, and mergers and acquisitions. Kevin earned his BA in History and Government, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1980. He also earned an MSc in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics in 1983. Kevin holds a JD from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
